Founded an open mic platform at The Good Life Café in December 1989 with her son R Kain "Blaze," and friends The Mighty O-Roc, The Dynamic Flo and KNGR. This underground platform offered a workshop-like atmosphere for aspiring MCs, Poets, and Musicians to hone their craft, while explicitly banding profanity.
